What are you most proud of? building something fun during our "busy season" - tiny step by step! Love flexibility so I can work when I'm able -

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Decide in advance if you want bigger than a lap quilt - it is faster and easier to do 2 blocks at the same time than to come back later, and I needed a queen sized quilt. A quarter-inch foot with guide and Dual Feed makes stitching fast and accurate. For the second slashed block (the pound sign), if you have a lot of distractions, use a disappearing marker to write the number of the vertical panel at the bottom (1, 2, 3) to prevent confusion - you don't want to attach the third strip to the first instead of the middle!

Thanks! I loved that "masai" fabric, and needed to include light greens and chocolate to go with the room, so happy for a little jazz! I like your projects, too.
