What was your inspiration?

I was having trouble deciding what colors to use for the class. I remembered some exchange blocks I had from the early '80s and got them out. I had never done anything with them, as I didn't have very many. Right away I decided I wanted to include them somehow into this quilt. I'm still looking for some more pastels that will go with these older fabrics. I'm really excited now and can't wait for the rest of the classes!

What are you most proud of?

That the units have been coming our almost perfectly square!

Thanks everyone. I've never done anything other than traditional settings, so this is my challenge for myself! I've never participated in an internet class or chat before. I love the feedback and comments and pictures of everyone else's work!

This new blocks look great with your exchange blocks, a real good idea.
