The pillow panels and the fact that Jack loves trains (he was 3). There are railroad tracks around each panel.

That I finished it.

don't let a lack of pattern deter you.

You can and have fun - anything goes with Thomas. I also used trains for the backing. I believe the blocks were about 13 inches....

Thank you! I just purchased some fabric for my 2 year old who loves Thomas the Train....loves loves loves him. I didn't want to do a traditional quilt because he wouldn't get to really see his trains. I love what you've done, it has given me some ideas...mostly that I don't have to be traditional, I can have big blocks!

My grandson would LOVE this. He lives near a train and loves Thomas. They take train rides for his rewards. So cute.
