Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Explorations in Brioche Knitting »

Instructions

Make sure you count your stitches to check you're getting the increases and decreases correct. I did a whole section before I realised I'd missed an increase after a decrease. At least I learned how to rip the stitches back and pick them up again!

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Men

Style: Funky, Classic

Materials

Artesano alpaca aran (50% superfine alpaca/50% peruvian highland wool)

What was your inspiration?

The colour was chosen to match a fleck in the tweed of my husband's cap.

What are you most proud of?

The length of it! It's 6'6" as my husband is tall and wanted lots of length to wrap around his neck and still have longish ends.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Keep counting your stitches!

I really like your yarn choice - color wise and yarn content. Nice scarf, wear it with pride.

Lovely! Good for you, fixing your mistakes. I missed some decreases myself, but just fudged it in the next section to compensate. Your scarf looks great.
