What materials did you use? For the full-square DK version of the shawl I used Madelinetosh Tosh DK yarn with 8mm(US 11) circular needles. The colorway used was 'Fawn'. For the shawlette - lace version I used Artist's Palette Yarns' Damsel Plus with 4mm(US 6) circular needles. The colorway used was 'DP1014'.

What are you most proud of? I am most proud that I was able to realize exactly what I had envisioned for this shawl.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Decide the shape of the shawl you want to make first. You can choose from Shawlette, Triangle, Trapezoid, or Full-Square versions. Read the entire pattern once before Casting on for the project.

I cannot wait until I have the skill to make more lacey items. I like the DK it seams to go faster too.

Yes, it definitely goes very fast. The body pattern for this shawl can be done by any beginner. The border however needs more concentration. But I do believe anyone can attempt it.
