Instructions

This is an awesome hat, and fun to make. You do need to modify the I-cord instructions by picking up fewer stitches than the instructions call for, both on the front and neck bands. This will give a smoother line, and pull the hat into a more rounded shape to follow the contours of the wearer's head.

judy, i'm so sorry--i can't share the pattern, as it would be a copyright infringment to do so. please check out "Lara" on Ravelry, or check the original place it appeared: http://twistcollective.com/2010/winter/magazinepage_01.php. The pattern is not terribly expensive, and the newest versions have all errata noted. It's well worth buying it!
