What was your inspiration?
Narelle's favourite colour is green so I challenged myself to make her something special for her 60th birthday. I'm not a fan of green so I did find it difficult to put something together that I was happy with and that I thought she would like... Jazzed it up a little with the backing fabric and that made me happy.
What are you most proud of?
I think my FMQ is improving and I am quite impressed with how much better the quilt looks with the stitching on the solid fabric. Also very pleased with the design as I was stuck on what to do for a few days.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have enough thread before you start... I have run out of the light green used for the pattern and will need to source some more to actually finish it before I give it to Narelle.
