What was your inspiration?
i wanted a new dress to wear to an assembly i went to last week. it's been 80-90 degree weather here, so i wanted something sleeveless.
What are you most proud of?
i cut a size four but made the darts a size two so that the neck/back would be a little higher up. do you watch project runway!?! who doesn't!? melissa made a dress with an awesome collar a few episodes back, so that was my inspiration.
i also omitted the darts in the back. instead i opted for two seams running parallel with the zipper from neck to waist by cutting four panels.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
there are so many different variations you could do with this pattern. i love this dress.
