What was your inspiration?

This dress was inspired by a piece of an Indian eyelet fabric that I accidentally stumbled upon while shopping for other things. Typical behavior for me :) I thought of a Burda pattern from last summer, that just like the fabric reminded me of Italy, grapes and a relaxed summer wedding.

What are you most proud of?

I am especially proud of the amount of hand sewing I incorporated,, which made the dress even more special to me.

I pun a regular zip, by hand, to the left side of the dress. Susan teaches a hand method, that I like. But I think invisible would work too. They just break often.
