I've started with basic beading with gemstones on 21 strand beading wire. The bail for the pendant is made by starting a standard wire wrapped loop with a headpin so that you get the curve but haven't begun wrapping the end of it around the base. Practice the wire coiling with inexpensive parawire or artistic wire.
