What was your inspiration?

I decided to do the "Quilt as you go" method as I do not like to handle the bulk of a sandwiched quilt on my wee machine :)
Glen and I worked out the order of the blocks and I am going to start sashing now - almost there!!!

From this picture I would NEVER have guessed you to be in Vancouver BC! Looks more like a Beach Scene. Your quilt looks Great and I really like your 'take' on several of the blocks. Good Work!!

Thank you very much SandiePink! We are blessed with very mild winters in Vancouver the average low temperature is 8 degrees Celsius (46.4 Fahrenheit), but it also rains for 4 months straight but that does not bother me in the least! I grew up in a more northern part of Canada where the winters would often hit -35 (-31 Fahrenheit). -42 (-43.6 Fahrenheit) is when they would start closing the schools because of the frostbite issues. Oh boy do I love it in Vancouver! :)
