What materials did you use? Scraps, including half square triangles made from corners cut from flying geese. Quilting was free-motion based on Angela Walter's class "Machine Quilting Negative Space." This was my first attempt at FMQ.

What are you most proud of? This is made from scraps. It is my first FMQ attempt and went pretty well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Practice, practice, practice! Loving Angela's class.

Have not made anything from this class to date, but think you have inspired me! Love your quilt and the beautiful project that inspired you to make it. Our guild makes baby quilts too for Childrens Hospitals and Sick Children....totally agree, these are such worthwhile projects. Thanks for sharing.

By the way, your FMQ is amazing, can't believe it's your first attempt...WOW!

Beautiful quilt - was thinking of making one for our hospital neonatal as well. What was the finished size?

32 inches by 32 inches is what the hospital requires. Check with the hospital to see what size would exactly cover their isolettes. Have fun!
