What are you most proud of? I am most proud that I was able to learn so much from this class; however, I did feel like a beginner all over again because there was so much to learn. Janet Ray is an amazing instructor, and I hope she will offer more classes. It was the first time for me to make a welt pocket and a burrito cuff; very easy once I processed all the steps. And best of all, my husband loves the way my jacket looks on me.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time with this class. I think I counted 55 pieces all together; that includes all the pattern pieces and the interfacing. It is crucial that you mark all of the notches and go step by step. If you follow the videos and refer to the booklet, you should do fine. I absolutely love the way my jacket turned out. Some of you may notice that the cuffs are not put on in the traditional way. Well, I made this jacket for myself and I knew that I would not wear it with the way the traditional cuff was put on, so I put the cuff on the front instead of the back. The reason that I did this is because when I wear the cuffs in the traditional way, the buttons tend to lodge themselves under my wrists, so I will get bruises when I rest my arms.

Love your fabric. The jacket is really great and I know you will enjoy it over and over again. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you Janet. It is still on my mannequin, but I know once the weather warms up, I will be wearing it every day. And, I just want to say again, you are a truly amazing instructor. I can see you thinking in the videos about how best to get the point across and you do very well at it. :-)
