What are you most proud of? That I now have a custom made ironing board cover. I'm actually looking for things to iron so I can just look at it! ...I know, crazy huh? :-D

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This was super easy using Eva's tutorial. She didn't use a serger to stitch the casing but it would be a perfect project for the serger. I personally used an overlock stitch on my regular sewing machine. Also when you pull up the elastic to snug the cover over your ironing board take it off the board once or twice to help distribute the tension in the elastic more evenly and then leave it on for the final tug and tie off.

Be sure to cover your sleeve board to match.

Very good idea! Maybe I'll use the coordinating print "Sunkissed Flowers'!
