Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Accessory

For: Unisex

Style: Funky, Whimsical

Materials

batik fabric, thread, cording, buttons, leather lace, leather, pellon, scarf, shoe laces, fusible fleece

What was your inspiration?

Stupendous Stitching was my inspiration. This is a craftsy course, right here, on line. :)

What are you most proud of?

Color, stitch choice, feels so interesting to the touch.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I used monofiliment thread (invisible) to sew the leather corner pieces that hold the iPad. The bobbin must be white so that it doesn't show on the stiched front.

The fabric started as a batik and then I did all the stitching,. Any batik is a nice choice with the decorative stitching.

I don't use a pattern, the size is determined by the size of whatever I'm trying to cover, hold, or otherwise want protected.
