iPad Tote

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy workshop:
The iTote »

Instructions

Be aware you have to stitch through many layers that are quite thick.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Casual

Materials

Fabrics from stash, zipper, zipper foot, walking foot.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to take a Craftsy Workshop to see how it differs from a Craftsy Course.

What are you most proud of?

I was able to follow the directions and complete this project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

There are many layers that are very thick and difficult to stitch through. I used would recommend using the walking foot whenever possible. I had to have my laptop nearby to continuously refer to the directions.

Nancy, you're so sweet. Now that I am retired I have the time to try these fun projects. I love Craftsy and all the ideas they have for projects. MSQC is also one of my favorite places for tutorials and creative ideas. When I actually see these projects being made, I have to try them for myself. BTW, regarding the tote, I was going through my old stuff looking for zippers and the one I used actually cost .50 cents on the sticker so I don't have any idea how long I've had it. Could be over 40 years. LOL
