Materials

I used a novelty print and a coordinating fabric to create a quilted cover. It has a black web strap because there wasn't enough fabric left over!

What was your inspiration?

The computer resource teacher at my school wanted a case/cover for her new ipad. She couldn't find one that had a pocket on it for the charger and cord. I had just finished making a cover for my daughter's nook and thought I could adapt that concept to make the ipad cover.

What are you most proud of?

I created this without a pattern and it turned out to be exactly what she wanted!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Measure twice, cut once! Measure again in the middle of the project! It's not all that hard, but it would be terrible to get all the way done with it and find that it doesn't fit!

I really like the idea of the pocket for the cord.
