What was your inspiration?

Got an iPad and realized that the zip top cover I have made in the past for eReaders would not accomodate a covered device. This one is sized larger to fit a device with protective covers or keypad covers. Had a friend with a top zip pouch and decided to make a pattern for a vertical case. With the vertical orientation, the shoulder strap hangs nicely.

What are you most proud of?

This pattern is so easy! The zipper is super simple to install and every seam is concealed. A professional finish with very easy technique, and with these fabrics and trims, so elegant! Make it your style with any fabric or decoration from casual to funky to formal.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be scared off by the zipper. If you can sew a straight line, you can install this zipper VERY simple.
