What was your inspiration?
I needed a case for my iPad and just figured that it was like making a pillowcase. I loved the leftover scraps from my previous project and didn't want them to go to waste.
What are you most proud of?
That what I pictured in my head worked out! I need to trust my instincts more and trust that I can do more free-form type projects.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
As you are adding your scrap strips and pieces, check to make sure you are still making a square/rectangle. Stop every so often and trim here and there to keep everything aligned. Don't be afraid to create angles - not everything has to be a ninety-degree angle.
