I thoroughly enjoy making viking knit jewelry and wanted to share my knowledge.

What are you most proud of?

That I teach how to use beads with viking knit, and also how to make your own end caps.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Read it all the way through before starting the project.

This is extremely beautiful ! Good work, I am just setting up my studio now, I hope my jewelry will look at least 1/2 as beautiful as yours. I am a nurse with very little time, and studying for my master in psychotherapy. I am close to 50, I should be thinking of retirement, but here I am going back to school when my love is making jewelry. Go figure. Can you make a living out of this? Hi Nicole -- what a love comment! Thank you so much for taking the time to write it out. :) As far as making a living at this, I know some people do (although not I for various reasons). Part of that is how much money you need per month, factoring in things like insurance, taxes, etc. But yes, I made a decent amount when I was actively selling. Now I do more teaching. :) Best wishes on your studio and going back to school!!!!!!!
