What materials did you use? All material as per pattern. Except the wool that I purchased was washable and so did not shrink onto the pillow as it should have. I had to buy a larger pillow to insert.

Thanks!

Did you buy the pattern and yarn for the pillow as a kit too ?

Hi the pattern was part of the intarsia course and the wool was available on crafsty for the project. I bought my own wool at Michaels.

Very nice choice of color. I like how you used white in the pattern and tan as the accent color! Your pillow looks great. The stitches look perfect!

Thank you! I saw so many mistakes! The course was really good and I am improving with each intarsia project I do.

With a project like this, I worry that others will find my mistakes and they won't like the finished product. But mistakes become inconspicuous since peoples' eyes are drawn to the large areas of color blocks and stripes, so they will end up taking in the project as a whole, and not noticing mistakes.

Congrats on that pillow! Looks wonderful! I understand that the yarn would not let you felt it. You did a good enough job that you did not need to felt? But for many, it's a wonderful option when you are new to a technique. That's why I set it up with that option. Good on you!!!
