What was your inspiration?

I came up with this scarf pattern after attempting to knit several different patterns with this beautiful yarn and not liking the way the colors pooled on any of them. It is a common problem with variegated yarn. I finally came to the conclusion that I needed to come up with a pattern that was as special as this lovely yarn.

Take your time with those yarn overs.
