Materials
I've used home dec remnants and quilter's cotton for this bag, as well as store-bought handles (nylon webbing, or cotton belting or braid).
What was your inspiration?
After sewing more difficult custom bags for sale, I wanted something easy I could make quite quickly without having to buy anything extra.
What are you most proud of?
The simplicity, yet functionality of it. Also--I love how you can take just the right fabric and make a tote that looks quite appealing, yet is very simple to construct.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be daunted by the fact that it's a lined bag (some are). I promise you--it's super easy and entirely doable!
