I took lots of video notes and watched the video over and over. It's ok to rip it out and start over. What was your inspiration?
Myra Wood's gorgeous Crazy Lace Cardigan's she wears in her video course. The pink one that's on the model was my first inspiration, the one that's on the course title page, but once I watched her lessons, one cardigan after the other she wore was more beautiful than the next. I plan to make lots of these in many colors and styles.
What are you most proud of?
This is my first top down sweater. The first sweater of my own design ever too!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I took a lot of video notes on the lessons and also repeatedly watched the lessons as I needed to catch something I was unsure of. I'm glad I was willing to start over 3 times, the first time, with 3 inches done, the 2nd time with 8 inches done, and I'm on the third start and it's going great. Love it and have learned so much from the first 2 tries. Got a v-neck with a slope I really like, and I got practice working the lace and keeping in patttern with the increases.
