Infinity Scarf

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Entrelac Knitting »

Instructions

select a yarn that easily lets you seee the patterns. I picked dark yarns for my first two tries, and got confused as to which stitch and tier I was on!

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Unisex

Style: Casual, Cute

Materials

Knit Picks Chroma 70% wool, 30% acryllic

What was your inspiration?

I try to use yarn in my stash and when I finally realized that this yarn was a similar one to the yarn used by the instructor, and the colors were light enough for me to see the pattern stitches, I really enjoyed making this project!

What are you most proud of?

I accidently added two tiers to the original project, and I'm pleased to say that the additional practice helped me learn the geometry fo entrelac knitting! Three times the charm!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

really try to learn how to do reverse knitting for both knit & purl stitches (I'm going to teach myself reverse purl stitching after I'm done here!) I saw that as my project got bigger, the constant turning made the project awkward to handle! The results would be the same whether youuse it or not, but it's so much easier on your muscles!

I love the fun colors you chose for the project! And I agree, learning how to both knit and purl in both directions can be a huge savings of time and effort!

Those colors really show off the texture. It looks wonderful.
