What are you most proud of? The entire ensemble. It turned out just the way I had envisioned it. I can't wait to see it on her.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time, be very patient, and have a fairly good knowledge of working with difficult 'fancy fabrics'. The entire outfit was made with French seams, and the bodice is fully lined. The main pink matte satin skirt and the two organza overskirts were each constructed separately and hemmed separately before attaching to the bodice. The main skirt was attached to the bodice directly. The two overskirts were first sewn to a 3/8" silk 'waistband' and then handstitched to the bodice over the main skirt.
