What advice would you give someone starting this project? Get enough tips and couplers to cover all the colors you are piping. I completely forgot about that and was constantly washing my single #1 tip throughout the entire project!

Did you use gold icing or paint it with gold luster dust afterwards?

Hi, I used the same Gold Highlighter from GSA that Joshua uses in the Piping class. It's really pretty. You really need to let the icing dry hard before painting it on though, something I had a little trouble with ;)

Thanks! The piping took me a day (including figuring out correct icing consistencies, trying & failing with powdered egg whites., applying gold paint etc.) It was my first time though... hope I'll be faster next time!
