Here are some details about my project:
Category Quilting

What materials did you use? Cotton flannel on the front and fake fur (very soft) on back with cotton batting in the middle. I used rayon embroidery thread and designs from Embroidery Library. I hand tied it with heavy cotton thread because I was afraid to machine quilt. I used rickrack so I wouldn't have to figure out sashing on my first project.

What are you most proud of? I'm proud that I tried something new and that my neighbor loved it. Next time I'm going to try to machine quilt.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid! It's quilting, not brain surgery. :)

This is a really eye-catching quilt. I love the colours you've used and the ric rac is an unusual touch that works really well.

I agree with everything that has been said. I love everything African, or Far East
