What materials did you use? Timeless Treasures "Vivienne" fat quarter bundle, purchased yardage, thread, fusible web, removable markers.

What are you most proud of? The final layout was a long time coming. I was able to adjust the block sizes to work in columns. I downsized the tumbling blocks and used "Y" seam techniques to inset the two side patches. My first mitered border came out well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be intimidated up front with the class sample quilt. You can always adjust to your own liking. Keep your overall color scheme in mind as you go. Wait until the end to create your Stripey Spools. They act more like fillers than blocks.

Of course your quilt turned out beautiful, & your colors are lovely...I appreciate seeing your back ground in a print instead of solid white...just awesome!!!

Thank you for your kind words Betty Nance :D

Total effect is gorgeous. It is difficult to evaluate an individual block for a whole quilt.

Thank you Pisgah!

I noticed your quilt before I read your comment. I also have a tendency to second guess my decisions, but you obviously have great instincts and have beautiful results. Keep at it!!!

Thanks again Pisgah! Would love to see some of your work. I'd like to do a Quilt of Valor...

Beautiful - still working on finishing my 2013 BOM - too much fabric so little time! You did a stunning job with this fabric.
