What are you most proud of? I quilted it on my own, on my home sewing machine. I made the binding myself, and I'm getting pretty good at putting it on! Finished size is about 48x60".

I keep coming back to this & I just got a great layer cake that would be fun to use on this! What size did you cut your strips & what size did your blocks come out to? & Did you use the entire layer cake for this blanket?

I'm so sorry! I just saw your comment. If it's still helpful.....I cut the layer cake into 4 even strips 2.25" wide each. Using .25" seams, the blocks ended up being 7" square. I used 2.25" strips of kona cotton for the sashing, and 5.5" for the outside sashing. I didn't use the whole layer cake, I still have some strips left but I couldn't tell you what percentage of the layer cake I used. Hope this helps. :)
