What was your inspiration?
I'd been making a lot of scrap quilts for charity just before this and kept rejecting a lot of the brightest colors as not fitting into the color schemes. So it was time to make a quilt top where brights were features. I also had a number of 7 inch HST blocks left over from another quilt, and I wanted to be able to incorporate those. I most frequently design my quilts on Electric Quilt software and know exactly what I'm going to do before I start, but this one was strictly design-as-you-go.
