Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: This cake was made using Wilton's new fondant to test out how it works in different applications. I also used Wilton's new fondant border as a border and ribbon. The imprint mat used was Wilton's graceful vines. The flowers are all of gum paste, with shading/highlights added using color and pearl dusts. Note I should have covered the board--it doesn't match the rest of the theme.

Your roses are beautiful. You said you were using Wilton New fondant. Does it taste better than the other? Maybe I will try it. Did you cut out the top yourself or was it a template? It is different but very pretty.

The new Wilton fondant tastes much better than the previous version--I would recommend trying it out. I cut the top out myself and used number 3 and 5 tips to cut the holes.
