I am crocheting little crowns for my nieces & I need advice about stiffening. What did you use on these gorgeous snowflakes? I have recipes for homemade. I have spray starch for ironing clothing and I can't find anything on Craftsy or others that have "fabric stiffener". In September I will start on Xmas decorations & I love your patterns for snowflakes and icicles. I'll be back after pay day if your patterns are for sale and I will download any that are free. by the way, I always include a business card sized card that includes the pattern developer/writer and websites where the writer and projects can be found. It's only fair (plus I'm a musician and I'm emphatic about copyrights). I know how much work it and talent it takes to write a pattern, as I write little tunes for kids and rock'n'roll musicians. I would appreciate any help or advice you can offer. I am a 4th generation crochet addict, but my ancestors are all on the other side now. Can you help?

The products I have used are Api's Crafter's Pick Fabric Stiffener and Aleene's Fabric Stiffener. You can also use white glue by mixing equal parts of the glue and water.
