What was your inspiration?
This cake was for a 10 year old girl who's having an ice skating party for her birthday.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The decorations are all fondant with tylose, the melting snow effect is melted fondant (slightly cooled) and drizzled from a paper piping back. (easier to throw away than to waste a piping back). Once it all settled, I airbushed with pearl color to give it a nice shimmer. Hope you like it and thank you for looking.
