What was your inspiration?

My dislike for cold feet mine or anyone elses gave me the idea to not only pad the heel but the sole for insulation from the cold... the guys love it so far ;o)

I have not posted a pattern or link for this sock as it is your basic heavy sock and there are dozens of free patterns avaiable... any pattern can be adapted to include the padded sole just remember if you do a slip stitch pattern it will tighten up the instep portion so make your stitch count to accomodate if needed
