iCarly dress

Instructions

I bought this dress at Target. And then copied & edited & re-sized the image using PhotoShop. I applied it with a transfer meathod using a t-shirt press but you could do this with a home iron. Use a transfer product for dark materials. I thought the edges were too obvious so I added some iron-on flower appliques that I bought at Wal-mart.

What was your inspiration?

My Livvy was going to an iCarly concert at The Music Circus and asked me to make her something special to wear.

What are you most proud of?

She loved it! So, of course I had to make one for her cousin, as well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

These appliques are iron-on, just make sure they are secure. It took me more time to do the PhotoShop work & to find the right image than anything else.
