Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Children

Style: Whimsical

Materials

72 different novelty quilt fabrics--2 of each square (6" finished squares) One of the fabrics will only need one 6" square. Embroidery floss (black) to tie the quilt Cotton print fabric for back Solid black quilt fabric for the binding

What was your inspiration?

A friend wanted to do an I Spy quilt, but it required about 70 different fabrics with two each of 6 1/2" squares. She invited others to make one too, so that she could share the expense of the fabrics.

What are you most proud of?

This was my very first true quilt to start; and my first quilt to do binding with mitered corners.

Thank you. It was really fun, and they all turned out surprisingly different from one another.
