What was your inspiration?
I wanted to design a feminine, yet classic look for an 18 month old that would photograph well.
What are you most proud of?
The design itself.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
While I designed and constructed this outfit from 'scratch', I'm sure there are patterns out there that would be very close to my design. If I had it to do over again, I would have interlined the white moleskin so that the red satin would not have been so evident on the right side. The moleskin was actually too thin to use the red satin lining. However, the over all effect, when worn with the dress was stunning.
