What materials did you use? Polka dot Organza with black taffeta. Second version is from blue cotton gingham

What are you most proud of? I used a slot seam technique on the gingham, and liked it quite a bit. I tried lots of different ideas with tucks and so forth to give a little bit of embellishment without being too much.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid of organza! It has lots of body and is not hard to sew with. This jacket is perfect for maternity too. The high waist pant is totally chic!
