Materials
The cake and cake board are covered with Fondarific chocolate fondant. The records and notes on the cake board are fondant. Some notes are cute with cookier cutters some are freehand. The decorations on the cake are piped with black royal icing. The texture on the records was done with a clay modeling brush tool and the cake border was made with a clay extruder. The writing on the records is done with a food marker.
What was your inspiration?
The groom is a published musician so this represents his love for music and his bride. I learned great fondant tips from Marina's cake decorating class.
