Hand painted, embroidered silk shantung.
What was your inspiration?
The fabric. I had it for a while. Of course, I pre-washed it so that I can launder the smock. I bought the fabric for about $10/yd. and had 4 yards of it, with a big remnant left over.
What are you most proud of?
How fast it was to make.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
