If you purchased the online video with Jacqueline Butler and listen to her very sage advice, you too can do this. This was the first Hydrangea I have ever made! Great video, I recommended it to friends and colleagues. I would love to see more by her on other flowers! Thank You so much!Difficulty:

Style: Traditional
Materials
Jacqueline Butler's online video (indispensable) Sugar paste, veiners, Hydrangea cutters, florist wires, wire cutters, foam pads, petal dust, gel colors.
What was your inspiration?
Having never made a Hydrangea, I mainly relied on Jacqueline Butler's online video and a photograph submitted to me by the client. I must have played Jacqueline Butler's video about 20 - 30 times and then grit my teeth and started making the buds, by the end of the week and an additional 20 - 20 views, I think I got it!
What are you most proud of?
The flowers....the client absolutely went crazy over them. The cake was delivered to her place of business and all of her associates and clients were all buzzing around, asking all sorts of questions, wanting to order one for themselves for the future! All in all, it was a wonderful experience!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Watch Jacqueline Butler's video, she is a wealth of information, providing the viewer with valuable information, from how to's to where to purchase equipment, what you will need and so forth. Having said that, make it your own, try different colors, arranging the flowers differently. I started with a small arrangement which then turned into the Hydrangea Blossom. Many Thanks again!
