What are you most proud of? I finished this in just a few hours with no prior experience. This class walked me through the basics of the machine (which dial did what, threading, troubleshooting, etc.), and once I was finished with those lessons (there were many more in between that I still need to watch), I skipped right to this project. And voila! 3 hours later, I had my husband's birthday gift in hand.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This class was so much fun! Be patient with yourself if you've never serged before. This bag is awesome as a beginner project, but I definitely see where I can improve my technique the next time I make this. It's just so great the first one looks this good!

You did a fantastic job! I love hearing that you bought the serger for yourself because you've always wanted to learn- that's great!
