I make the husband a pair of socks every year for Christmas. He adores them.

What are you most proud of?

Actually finishing them almost in time for Christmas Day. (I finished them the day after)

Kate, lucky husband to have such a clever, generous wife. Your socks are fantastic and thank you for sharing the pattern. I love your logo on what looks like sock stretchers! Is that balsa wood and is the design burned or stamped? Would like to know if you did this yourself or where you had them made. Sorry for the 'grilling' post. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours!

Thanks! The design in the sock blockers is actually cut out of the wood. Not sure what type of wood it is as I picked up the sock blockers at Stitches South this past year. They're made by a company called Purrfectly Catchy Designs and I recall that the owner had quite a few designs available for the sock blockers.
