What materials did you use? Denim, metal zipper, rivets, nail-in button, jeans thread, regular thread

What are you most proud of? Having jeans that actually fit me! I think I did a really nice job with the topstitching, too, considering I didn't have a double needle that actually works well with my machine.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to give it a shot--the fitting can take some time, even when working from a well-fitting pair of jeans, but it's so worth it! (Also, Mr. King's front fly zipper method really is genius. Easiest time I have ever had with one!)

You did an amazing job. What level would you say your sewing ability was before taking this class?

I'd say fairly advanced-- I started learning to sew clothes when I was 7 and never really stopped! But I learned a ton of new stuff from this class, and I think it's definitely worth it for more intermediate sewers too. (Probably not a beginner project here!)

They must fit good, you look happy!

Thanks! I am going to have to tweak my waistband the next time I make a pair, because there has been some stretching in the last couple of months that I've been wearing them. But the fit overall, aside from that, is great!
