Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I used Satin Ice (black and white) fondant. The letters and all other designs on the top are made out of fondant as well, colored with silver and gold luster dust. I used a 9x13 cake pan, 2 layers of about 1.5" each, and filled with buttercream icing. The cake shrinks a little after cooled, I trimmed the sides to fit with the size of the design I had prepared in parchment paper.
