What was your inspiration?
The Quilt Show annual BOM. I also took some courses from Joanne Winn on digitizing and applique in the hoop. I wanted to combine all these techniques into this project. After finishing in early 2011 I was stumped on how to quilt it. Both Cindy Needham and Leah Day's Craftsy classes helped me to finish it in 2013.
What are you most proud of?
That it is no longer a UFO!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Takes practice and patience in lots of different techniques.
