Instructions

HUGGY has been designed to be easily held by small hands and the texture in the pattern is great for inquisitive little fingers.
The finished size is approx 15ins/38cms

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Toy

For: Children

Style: Cute

Materials

100gms each of 2 colours in double knit or equivalent yarn 1 x pair 3.25 knitting needles. Small amount of polyester fibre filling (washable) to currant British standards

What was your inspiration?

Originally it was my daughter who would love to tuck her favourite dolly under her arm at bedtime. So when designing this particular pattern I decided to only fill the head, hands and feet with fibres leaving the main body part easy to tuck under a small arm.

What are you most proud of?

Having been knitting for many years I am proud that I have been able to design a range of children's toy patterns that are uniquely different and still suitable for all skill levels.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

To a beginner I would say just take your time and if you feel like the pattern stitches are a little hard continue in either stocking stitch (1 row knit and 1 row purl) or garter stitch (every row knit) HUGGY will be loved just the same.x
