What are you most proud of? having a go at something new and having it turn out just the way you hoped it would... gotta love that!!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? to anyone wanting to give this a go.... My advice to you is take your time and most of all give it a go...

He looks so cuddly. Am very tempted to buy pattern and make one, even though there are no grandkids on the horizon

Hey Rhonda... thanks.... I think you should have a go, it's an easy pattern to follow, and besides you don't need grandkiddies to have a cute teddy or 3 sitting around your house.... :)

Hey Rhonda, Sorry that I didn't get back to you sooner... So far I have had a go at the eyelash yarn, I've just finished a bear that was knitted in feather yarn and my latest one is being done in Chenille... If you want to have a go first before useing the fancy yarn just try 8ply, double knit... depends where you live to what it's called... I hope this helps.. happy knitting!!! :)

Bless what a pretty bear you have created, its really sweet and looks very huggable. Thank you for creating one of my bears and thank you for taking the time to post a photo one here. It will inspire others to create a bear :)

G'day Rhonda, Sorry for not getting back to you sooner... I've used eyelash yarn for this bear, I've just completed a bear in feather yarn and have now started another one useing Chenille... if you want to do a practice bear I would suggest 8ply /double knit... I hope this helps... Happy knitting!!! :)

I'm so sad, I love this bear pattern, (took me a while to find it), and then I find out it's knitting, and I do not knit. How disappointing. Is there a crochet pattern out there that is like this? Or, does anyone know of a U-tube online knitting tutorial? Thank you.

G'day, PhyllisF... there is heaps of learning to knit tutorials on youtube.. or you can go to your local craft shop and pick up a learn to knit booklet at not a bad price... this pattern is a wonderful and easy pattern to follow it has simple increase and decrease and uses purl and knit thats it... it is also done useing 2 needles which is a big help if you are just starting out.. I have been knitting for years, mum taught me the basics when I was a kid... even now my books that I have on knitting are still used they a great reference to have always... Goog luck!!!! Deb :)
