1 skein Knit Picks Essential sock yarn (may have taken a little more than one but I had two skeins so used a second skein on the second section of the aqua color) About 1/2 skein Knit Picks Palette. #5 needles
What was your inspiration?
I started making this for a family reunion silent auction. We were going to visit our sister-in-law's parents and I kept getting a feeling her mother needed a hug, so I finished it quickly so I could give it to her.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I use large cookie sheet to hold the chart, which is made up of three pages.
